Changing GMC truck U Joints
Thought I would ask a non corvette question: Want to change the rear
driveshaft U joints on a 1998 K 1500 pick up. Did not see any clips to
remove and was told by someone at Auto Zone that to remove the originals
you need an accedylene torch to melt the plastic and then press them out.
I have a mapp gas torch and wonder if this would work or am I better to
take the differential to a shop and have the u joints changed?
