Default anti freeze and distilled water

I wonder if any one knows if water collected from a dehumidifier is considered distilled. Someone said it was I am not so sure. Would like your thoughts :confused:

I think you need a slap go and buy a jug of distilled water at walmart for .80 cents and be done with it

No. A dehumidifier just takes water out of the air. It does not distill it. You need to boil it and catch the condensation for distilled water. It is a little more than that but go and buy it. It is cheap at Wally world.

No. A dehumidifier just takes water out of the air. It does not distill it. You need to boil it and catch the condensation for distilled water.
Both distilled water and dehumidifier water 'catch the condensation' from the air by dropping the air temperature below the dew point- no difference in the physics behind the process. The only advantage of distilled water is that it has been boiled, killing any bacteria, not that bacteria is an issue in a radiator. I've been using dehumidifier water for decades in batteries and radiators, never have one of my cars caught cold or the flu.
