Hey munday,
Just saw your post. What can I help you with?
Let me know.
Hi tom102,
I am Dicks son. I have his old '61. The '57 is in FL somewhere, and his '65 is in Canada.
You can check out pics on our website. Moroso Racing

Rick, let us know when that monster crate engine goes into the 68! One of the car mags... (Hot Rod?) estimated that engine should be good for high 9 second 1/4 mile times. :)

Re: Where's ole rick moroso... (PRND21)
PRND21,
We are getting close. Just waiting on a few last parts to come in to fit up, than the frame and suspension will be sent out to get powder coated, then reassembly. Should be about a month or so. I will keep you all updated for sure!

Rick, does your car have a cage or not? Wondering because if it has you have to take the entire thing apart to have it powdercoated. I'm going to powdercoat my frame too but hve to wait till the cage comes in so I can weld on the mounting surfaces and after powdercoating remove the coating from them to weld in the bars (and then use epoxy paint in the same color as the powdercoat to finish the whole deal off)
Can't wait to see some more pics (preferrably large ones) :)

Re: Where's ole rick moroso... (Twin_Turbo)
Twin_Turbo,
It had a bolt in cage when I got it, but we took it out. I am not sure what it is getting yet. Either a cage, a roll bar, or possably two hoops behind each seat. In the case of the two hoops, it would have some lower bars that you would not see. They would just bee there for structure.
I was planning on doing the same thing. Powder coat, grind, and refinish.
I will post pics and info as I do it for sure.

78 Vette,
We'll see.
munday,
Unfortunately I already scrapped the cage. It was not the nicest one I have ever seen.
Thanks for the complement on our site. Yours is not too shabby itself. I would say you have a real good start!
And it is definitely Rick, please not sir! :)

Rick, didn't your dad race at Capitol Raceway off rt50 there in Bowie Maryland, north of DC??? back in the 60's.....wasn't there a partnership back then under the legend Stahl/Moroso???
I used to race back when, but well, after near 40 years, CRS sets in...

Re: Where's ole rick moroso... (mrvette)
Hi mrvette,
I don't know for sure if he raced there, but I would say most likely. Stahl/Moroso was in York, PA. He raced all over the northeast A LOT!
Before Moroso Performance Products started in 1968, my dad partnered with Jere Stahl for a short while. They separated, and started their own shops. Jere still makes headers, and I see him at the trade shows every year.
