What size exhaust ...

What size exhaust is on a 71'... is it 2" or 2 1/4" or 2 1/2" ? I want to put the original size on there.

Only the LT1 and the BB had the 2 1/2 inch. The standard SB got a 2 inch system. For performance I would install a good 2 1/2 inch system. The stock 2 1/2 pipes are bent and squished which lowers the flow.

With either size, you will see some benefit from mandrel bends in the pipes.
