Default AC VIR system replacement

I purchased the Ecklers VIR replacment system for my 77 (it actually comes from Old Air in Dallas). At the same time I replaced the compressor and hose, using the Ecklers kit to convert to 134a. With this setup, I cannot get any differential pressure. I tried a second reman compressor, and then a brand new one (all the R4), with no better result. Has anyone run this VIR replacement kit? I question if the supplied orifice is correct, as the system just will not build pressure.
