to what extent have you gone through to get parts?
I went to a junk yard for an hour and a half for two nut that match the two that hold the brake fluid cylinder onto the brake booster. :crazy:

I have actually gone into Pep Boys and spoken to the employees there in several futile attempts to find parts! :rolleyes:

I have bought parts off Ebay!
No, really!......
Well okay, I bought and shipped a correct 68' 427/435 short motor from Flippin Arkansas to Australia. After dealing through a friend of the seller for 2 months I finally got the sellers details and he told me he wanted $1000 over what his friend said :cry I bought it any way because it was a complete motor and I ended up selling the bits I didn't want on Fleabay.

I am just glad there is a Vette Parts supplier in the area. Nothing like having a part in your hand before you make the decision to spend the hard earned money.

Called all over the country for a rear defogger vent grill for the 72. Ended up paying with my house and first born child for one out of California. Very hard to find one unbroken I quess.
