I received my C-5 seat today and now I can't get out of it.
This thing is comfortable. It's the black leather one with the corvette script on it. I'm going to make an office chair out of it. Kind of a waste I guess in most peoples eye, but I didn't want to shell out $1200 for one in the catalogs.
It has been six months since I started looking one and probably made 20 offers to C-5 guys. Finally one came up for sale that fall in my budget range and it's pretty close to new. :cheers:

I've thought of doing that too. My office is covered in Corvette posters and models, only makes sense to have a Corvette office chair. But like you, I have WAY better things to spend my money on.

Nope, I bought it just for a chair. I'm sure I could make it fit, but there is alot of motors and relay controls under it. The height might be an issue to clear these.
I saw a set of brand new Z06 seat in the C-5 part area for $700 the other day. Those would have looked great in your car.

Yep, feel your pain. I just had to devy up for a 1 carat princess cut. :cry She's worth it, but think about all those car parts I could buy. :D

I have my '68 seats in the living room. They are great for movie nights- it gives us that stadium seating feel.
