Moved the motor and tranny into my chassis
EDIT - do the right mouse button - show pic. They'll come up Marck.
Well, it was a pretty nice weekend that just passed.
On Saturday, it peaked over 90 in So NH - and we were swimming
in the in-ground pool already (earliest ever).
On Sunday, I put my Harbor Freight gantry crane together. I used this
to lift and move my motor/tranny into the rolling chassis. They look like
crappola in the nice new chassis, but I'm getting impatient to drive - so WTF.
Here are a few pics of where I'm at now. The body/dolly are now in the
garage. There are a few items that need attention before I put the body down.
Mainly, the #4 body mount reinforcements need replacing (this weekend).

So, here are the pics:

Re: Moved the motor and tranny into my chassis (Eddie 70)
Thanks guys.
I'm still WAY behind, but I will definitely be going foir a cruise this year,
before tearing back into it this winter. I figure if I take the body off each
winter, it will stay real nice.
Next step - install refurbished exhaust and new fuel lines (once I bend 'em up).
The crane is pretty sweet. I still need to liberate a trolly for it from work.
It is at the lowest setting. By pulling the big pins at the top, you can crank up
the sides to almost twice as high !!

Looks Great. I'm about at the same point. Waiting to get my engine, the builder had a battery blow up in his face.
I'll be installing the #4 mount reinforcements in the AM.
Good luck
