Does your car have any fluid leaks?
I thought I had all leaks fixed and then the oil pan gasket starts to leak on me again :banghead: maybe it's just part of owning a C3...

It's an old Chevy. Leaks are the engine's way of letting you know that it still has oil in it! :yesnod:
If it stops leaking, that means whatever used to be leaking is no longer there.

My M22 has the typical front case leak. I need to put an Autogear Super Case in it. I think my synthetic lube attacked my sealant that I used on the countershaft (Permatex #2) when I re-built it. My biggest worry is those 3000 RPM Drag launches are moving the case. I plan to address the leak soon with either a new case or a Richmond 5 speed.

My fluid leaks have a car. Mostly transmission fluid and coolant. I keep an eye on the levels.

Yes my 30 yr. old power steering does. Don't they make anything that lasts anymore? :D Charles

Leaks? On my car! Are you trying to insult Me? My car doesn't leak a drop...Well maybe just a little power steering fluid...And a little oil...and a little transmission fluid...and a little differential fluid...

I'm constantly chasing an oil drip at the rear of my engine. I replaced the rear seal with the proper oversized one for an align-honed 400 and swapped out the pan for a new one and installed it with a one-piece gasket.
I think one of the freeze plugs at the back of the block is the culprit. I'll find out for sure when I freshen up the engine this winter.

Old motor did. New motor doesn't leak a drop  but it took a long while to get the power steering leaks stopped up! :mad

Used to have all kinds of leaks. Oil leaked from the fuel pump (!), oil pressure line, rear main seal, intake, oilpan... Tranny leaked. One by one I've fixed the leaks and now it doesn't leak at all, even with 5W-30 synthetic.

Why do you think AutoZone sells those big metal pans for $6.99? To stop leaks...from messing up your garage floor! :D

Oh I misread the title. I thought it said, "Does your car have any fluid that it doesn't leak?"
Coolant - no
crankcase oil - yes
ps fluid - yes
tranny gear oil - no
diff gear oil - no

If it has fluid in it, it's leaking :banghead: I think I finally have the engine sealed up good. Now it's time to work on the powersteering, radiator, tranny, diff, and AC :leaving:
