Testing Brake Booster ??????
Is there any way to test a brake booster when it is off the car ? The booster on my '73 doesn't work and I've got an old one off a '76 --- but I don't know if it's good or not --- ANY SUGGESTIONS ??? Thanx for the help guys, Rick

Just test it for vacuum. If it holds vac then it's good. You will need a vacuum pump which is a standard tool for a tune up tech if you know one. Hope this is not being too simplistic but it's really not hard to do... :yesnod:
