Rear Tires go at an angle when I back up.
When I back up my 81 Vette the bottom of the tire angles in and raises the back up a lot. I just thought it was normal bk of the independent rear suspension, but I was at a show on Sunday and noticed that everyone elses wasn't as bad as mine. Is this normal. could I have a weak leaf spring that needs to be replaced? if so are they easy to replace?

Not sure if I understand what your saying, but it sounds like the trailing arm bushings are shot. Are you saying that the tires are straight when going forward, but tilt in, (such as extreme neg camber) , when backing up???

Could be component wear of some sort but I had the same prob on mine when the toe was adjusted way in on the rear. It raised up the rear when moving forward and affected the camber drastically. You may have excessive toe OUT, or a combination of toe error and wear on several parts.
