She just died...
I've been gone so long, maybe some of you thought I died! But no...little miss Tawanda gave up the ghost Sunday morning on my way to work! My poor patients had to wait until AAA could come to the rescue. Anyway, I was clipping along, no chugs, no lurches, no noises...nuttin'...she just lost compression and I coasted her over to the side. Belts are in place, that was my first thought, nothing obviously missing. Ideas please!!!

My first thought would be HEI module. I've heard they can just "go" sometimes. Not a terribly difficult fix either.
Hope it works out well. Take care!

Make sure she has spark, fuel and compression. thats all you need to fire the vette. from there you can narrow it down to what particular part is causing the problem.

Thanks for the ideas. She just won't turn over...sitting pretty in the front yard where AAA left her. Plenty of gas...I know...I just dropped $30 in the tank at $2.08!!!

Probably a dead battery (now) because of a bad alternator. Your alt. was not providing any charge, so your car was running off the battery, until it died.
Change both and you'll probably be driving again soon!
