On a 71'..Does it have dual exhaust or not?
Does it have dual exhaust or not? What is the difference between true dual exhaust and regular dual exhaust? :confused:

Personally, I would say the true dual IS regular dual exhaust.
A 2-1-2 setup is fake dual exhaust.
For those stuck (due to inspection) with a 2-1-2, bigger pipe and a performance cat can help.
Your 71 came with regular (true) (real) dual exhaust. It can still be improved
with headers, bigger pipe, better mufflers, or SIDEPIPES !!

An extra word, like brand new car or new car.
Duals, dual exhaust, true dual exhaust- all same. Some are just making clear it has dual exhaust.

Yes indeed. All 71's came from the factory with true dual exhaust, from the base 270 hp 350 to the LS6 and ZR1 454's. True duals were discontinued sometime in the mid 70's.
