68 Ign. Switch Removal
I know it has something to do with the hole next to the key, but what do you do with it? I tried a small paperclip and turned the key but I wasn't able to get it to disengage.
What am I missing?
Help....

Re: 68 Ign. Switch Removal (69L71)
I had no luck with a paperclip, the wire was to big. I found a small spring that I cut the end off. Anyway, when you put the wire in the hole it should push in a spring loaded pin. While that is still pushed in you rotate the key (and pin) counterclockwise and pull lightly on the key. You should find a spot where it will feel like it will pull out. I don't remember for sure, but I think that was at or just past the ACC position. Good luck. :smash:

I had a hell of a time gettin mine outa there last summer. what i ended up doing to push the pin in was i used a sewing needle not one u thread but one with a head on top. i believe he is right to put it in the acc position and just wiggle it around to get it out.
