Default bad weekend could turn out for the best

On Saturday around noon, I was headed to the local Fridays to meet my parents for lunch. Cruising along in my 90 celica that I just got to the point of being happy with how it looked (not ricey, just a nice looking car with 17''s and lowered but still classy looking) and out of nowhere a Expidition pulls out right in front of me and I only had a second to tense up and hit the brakes but it was too late. In that short amount of time I totaled my car which I loved and took care of the whole time I owned it! Luckily no one was hurt except my pride!

But then I start talking to m dad about the money that I will be getting for it and he starts telling me I should look more in to buying the Vette now and since I have already been saving that he would give me a personal loan to get a decent one!!! So now Im on a search for a decent C3 for around 7-8 grand. Then my girlfriend calls and tells me her stepdad knows a guyt with a 79 for sale for $6000. So tomorrow Im going to check it out and might come home a Vette owner!!!!!

Sorry to hear of the loss, you will be more than happy to replace it with a C3 try and get one in the best conditon you can find you want to spend your money on upgrades/improvements not regular maintenance items :D

the 79 I went to look at really turned out to be a junker, and the pain looked just terrible, almost like a highschool class did it their first time with orange peel and run marks all over the car!!:U the headlights needed fixed(would only open with assistance but would close on their own, the water pump was going bad and the nose had large cracks in the fiber glass.. and the list goes on!

So to say the least the search continues :auto:

Wait...dont tell me. The expedition was being driven by a soccer mom while talking on her cell phone.

Seriously though, I saw a few Vettes for sale in the Beacon Journal this past week I think one was a 75.
Go to some local cruises and talk to some Vette owners. They probably know of ones for sale.
