Default Are there clips on the half shafts?

I'm swapping out my rear end for one w/ 3.55 gears. I can't get the half shafts off, are there clips holding them on?

Half shafts just bolt on. Sometimes you have to pry them out with a screwdriver. If you're talking about the yokes that stick out of the diff, then yes, they are held in with clips.

Yes, I was talking about the yoke that goes into the chunk. I take it the rear cover has to come off to acesss the clips?
