urgent !!! what fluid to use with steeriods kit,
guys,
i need my car back on the road tonight,
got the steeroids kit on no problems yesterday,
all i need do is fit the old pump back on,
trouble is, all i can get my hands on is dexron 2 atf, (in the UK),
called a few places and they said thats all they sell,
will it damage it if i use the dexron 2 ?????

You saying the parts houses do not carry power steering fluids??? all it is, is hydraulic fluid...really.....you can use ATF but the fricktion enhanseres sometime attack seals.....shouldn't be an issue, but can be....used to use ATF alol the time, years ago...but now a daze later stuff says not to....

been on the phone to dozens of parts shops today and none do just power steering fluid,
looks like i'm gonna have to use atf and hope for the best,
