window motor had water in it...? how do i prevent this?

Default window motor had water in it...? how do i prevent this?
the window stopped working so i investigated...
the motor had water in it...
since i dont drive my car in the rain i have to assume that it happened from washing the car...

any ideas on how to prevent this from happening again?
other than by not washing the car!

Sounds like the weatherstripping is leaking.
