what to flush power steering pump with
guys,
just fitted my steeroids kit,
it was pretty easy,
just got to adjust it up, so this could be the fun part,
i just need to flush all the atf out so as i can fill it with power steering fluid,
what should i use,

Whne doing power steering repairs, I just bought a two big bottles of power steering fluid and let that run through to flush the crud out.

Yup yup... Just flush it with regular power steering fluid, then add Royal Purple Power Steering Fluid when you're ready to seal it up... $5.85 a quart, but only the best for my Vette... :thumbs: I bought a new pump for my Steeroids installation. That old pump was nasty and it had all kinds of crud in it. $50 with reservoir from Autozone...
