tha lemont cruise nights start on wed...june 2nd.. they are about the best in the chicago area, as far as ,,, the street gets closed off , so your free to wander- also see 500 cars on a good warm summer night,,,,,,also-bar ba que's and d-j are going every wed night until labor day,,,6 to 9 pm i am usually parked in frt of ''NICKS'' tavern(burgers)lots of other places walkin distance to eat------carl a -------------

Thats a great cruise. They also have a nice one in Plainfield (I just moved there) I'm not sure on the dates yet, I'll post the dates when I find them.

Have you ever been to the car show they do in Woodridge on the 4th of July? Thats a pretty good time and it's all free.

plainfield is nice, but they leave the street open , thats why lemont is my favorate, they shut it down from 6 to 9---- ------------

You guys should try out Frankfort, IL some Thursday night too. The center of town shuts down for the cruise night. Most I've seen there is about 150 cars. They have a 50-50 raffle too.

Yes Thursdays. Frankfort center of town, which is a few blocks south of the intersection Rt 45 and Rt 30. Far south of Chicago.
