Re: Pictures of my rearend just for Twin Turbo (RATT7)
My mufflers a 3 inch Turbo's because they are the quietest I could find. The green filters are fuel filters. The tank has twin 1/2 inch outlets welded to the very bottom corners of the tank, they run into the twin filters then into twin high pressure holley pumps, then into a 1/2 inch stainless line which goes all the way to the large expensive holley fuel regulator at the motor. I run 16 pounds of fuel pressure to the regulator where I break it down to 6 pounds. 4 smaller flex stainless lines come out the regulator to the twin 850 double pumpers.
I tried cheaper regulators but could stabalize the fuel pressure so I bought the best I could find at the speed shop and never had a problem since,
You can see the coilovers, the 3 inch stainless exhaust.
It really bothers me to see, at work them take 3 inch aluminum pipe 20 feet long and effortlessly curve it into anything I could want. I could get a one piece mandrel bent exhuast front to back effortlessly but aluminum will not stand up. But it is oh so light.

Norval, thats an interesting comment about aluminum not standing up....why?? temps or vibration???
also I rmember back in the old daze of Pontiac super duty engines...early 60s...and the aluminum cast long tube stock factory headers, complete with dumps......
the aluminum did not last long though, I suspect it melted, not sure....
I know the temps at my header collector still require a heated O2 sensor, being much lower than 600f or so when idling....suspect hot enough on the freeway though....thing is, further back, it would seem cool enough for alumnum....no???

This is like an I-spy game.
I spy with my little eye - something original without holes in it.
YES - I believe that Norval actually has a stock - unadulterated - differential
cover. You're trying to hide that with the fancy fuel delivery system - huh ?
Do I win ??
Looking good - as always. (the vette) :seeya

Re: Pictures of my rearend just for Twin Turbo (Twin_Turbo)
that looks awesome, huge filters also Do you have 2 fuel pumps or just parrallel filters?
No I have twin blue holley pumps tucked up there. From the 1/2 inch outlet to the large fuel filter to the pump, each side has it' own. They do Tee to go to the front.
Stock cover???? Basically yes except I added a drain plug to it in the bottom corner around 5 oclock and drilled and taped the cover bolts so they go right through the carrier.
So is the cover stock with just drain plug drilled and taped into it?????

Nice, could you show a pic or 2 of your trailing arms? I was on corvettefaq and was reading one of your post about how to make your own offset TAs but there were no pics.

Re: Pictures of my rearend just for Twin Turbo (Twin_Turbo)
does the fuel line run under the differential?
This fuel line setup wouldn't pass our governmental yearly technical inspection.
Fuel lines must run higher than the frames. Anytime it runs below a frame , it will fail the inspection , being a security risk.
Otherwise very interesting setup. Double fuel filter/pump,1700 CFM carb.
Are you firing a jet engine with this.

Re: Pictures of my rearend just for Twin Turbo (WESCH)
My fuel line does drop below the differential breifly before scooting up to the floor. Going from my setup over the differential would be very difficult with the large rigid line. As for the drive shaft it scoots away right away far from the shaft. If I ever offroad the car the oil pan and exhaust are long gone too.
I have to downsize the pictures I take because other then Corvette forum all other forum show them in their full size and I wreck the post with massive pictures so everything I take from now on is .3 meg and not 1 met.
I promised Patrick not to wreck his forum with any new pictures.
