opinions: harbor frieght welding helmet, vac pump & freeze 12
1. harbor freight has welding helmet that is auto darkening with shades 9-13 in .0001 seconds, any experience on this helmet?
2. they also have a vacuum pump for airconditioning system, very small uses compressor air and only cost $10, anyone used to evac car system?
3. anyone used freeze 12 in the airco systems in replacement for R-12 and if so what were the results?
Thanks for your views.

auto darkening helmet works great, just make sure you leave it someplace where the solar cells have a chance to charge. cant say about the others

Put two cans of Freeze 12 in my '88 Bronco II daily driver last summer and it works just fine, cold amd comfortable.

Compressed air vacuum pumps are more than adequate for the shadetree, assuming that you have a compressor that will maintain a minimum of 90 psi for ten minutes or so. They use a good volume of air to draw a decent vacuum. A 30 gallon tank will usually keep up, but the compressor will run continuously for the vacuuming.
