FRONT SIDE MARKER BEZELS----COLOR?
Were the front side marker bezels colored the same as the body, or satin black like the rockers, gills, and rear window trim on the 1980 model?

I have an '81, but I'm almost certain they are the same color as the car. I'm 99% sure.
Anyone else have that extra 1% certainty?

On my 81 they were the same color as the body. I removed the side marker bezels, gills and rockers and painted them a dark bronze. It looks great. :cool:

When I had a 81 white vette they were the same color. After I painted I painted the marker flat black. I thought they looked good.

the left hand side is still available from GM but the right hand side was discon in 1995 , going to be on permanent back order unless someone has one laying around.GM part numbers are 5936617 lh and RH is 5936618.
