So it was inside the vette already? By your heading I thought it jumped out of a tree or something and landed on you arm. :eek: Either way that must have scared the poopie out you.

lots of them live in & around my house & garage.
one sits on my bicycle frame and goes for a ride :lol: they seem harmless but i don't want poop in my 72 :mad
yes it did startle me :eek: but not as much as a bee or wasp :mad

Had a cat do the same number on me once, but it was even worse. Going down the road at about 70MPH, cat comes boiling out from under the passenger seat, jumps across my lap and flies out the window. I see it in the rear view mirror bouncing along the pavement, cars hitting it. Some bubba in a truck pulls up beside me, laughing his azz off. IT GETS WORSE. I get to work and I hear mewing. Damned thing had had kittens under the seat. I've never left the window down in a vehicle overnight since.

Driving through town last night in my truck I see this snapping turtle crawling down the sidewalk approaching a busy intersection, it is at least a 1/2 mile from the nearest water and has to cross a really busy road and follow it to the water. Feeling sorry for it I stopped, backed up and went to pick her up. Typical female, any time a male offers his services they try to snap at you. Anyway after a little dissagreement I picked her up, put her in the back and drove her to the pond.
Once agian another diagreement over getting out of the truck but I carried her to the pond and set her free.
Typical female agian, NO thankyou, no nothing, Just swam away without a wave.
MY feels were really hurt but I felt really good that I saved her from a probable death under the wheels of a car. :lol:

OLD old friend from the Wash dc area, we called him Airboat Willie, well his real name was Charlie, anyway he has this really large Caddy powered airboat, does over 100 mph down here in Florida.....he now lives a reclusive life down here, I"m told....he don't wanna be bothered....long story...at any rate he had a large poisonous snake drop on him at speed in his airboat down the coast a ways.....about 80 mph, and jumping around, danm near lost the boat,....
Had an uncle, long gone now, that lost a car to a damn BEE once.....

HAHAHA.....yup, but one better, Norval, that is the truth is.....
I have a problem with bees eating my house....serious.....
seems down here in the swamps there are black bumble bees with white/yellow?? markings...they about 1/2 inch diameter, and bore holes into any pine wood, even pressure treated....I kill them all the time above the hot tub tiki bar, in the storage shed, and etc....they lay eggs in there, bore in at right angles to the grain, then switch directions one inside....
I spary with carb cleaner, and then wasp/hornet killer.....dead on the spot...
thing is, some neighbor said something about them spinning a 'shield' over the hole once inside the wood, that protects them from sprays....need poke a wire in there and tear it up to kill the eggs/young ones??? dunno...

LMAO!! That's hilarious! I had a cat hiding under the cover in the hatch of my '82 that scared the crap out of me. I was just backing out of the driveway, so I can't imagine what you must've felt like.
