Default Bad day for the 850DP

Well finally after talking about giving a Q-jet a try, tonight my friend stopped over with his 800 and all I can say is wow. The throttle response was way quicker and the wot was very impressive. My plugs need to be replace, very black but even so it ran great. I am not confused anymore.......

800 Q-Jet. I took my plugs out this morning and they were all really black. I am surprised it even ran, but I am sure the MSD makes a difference. Tonight is another test run, but so far last night it runs better at idle, very responsive when you first hit the gas and when the secondaries kick in it really pulls hard. I am not going to give up on the Holley, but I think its going on the shelf for now.......
