Default I insulated the interior today...

Hopefully it will keep my feet from burning up. :D I figure with the side pipes the floor should run coor than the stock exhaust anyway, but I rather be safe than sorry. Also I hope to reduce the interior noise, evey little bit helps I guess.

What brand of insulation did you end up selecting?

I not sure on the exact name, but I picked it a couple weeks ago at the big swap meet in Pate, Tx. It was a big roll for $25 which is pretty cheap compared to what you see in Summit, and other catalogs.

I just did mine with the reflectix. You will be pleased with the reduction in heat and road noise.

theprevious owner went to great lengths to remove all the firewall grommets, lower shifter rubber boot all in order to make the driver's seat the heat sink for the vechicle. I could roast a chicken on a hot day on my seat.

It wasn't that bad of a job. The gauges are Autometer Ultra-lites, and believe me they are light compared to the stock units. I wanted to retain the stock housing and all that was needed was to use the bracing supplied w/ the gauges. I re-wired the entire car via Painless Wiring, but I'm sure it's still a simple hook-up.

Looks good Corey. I have a couple rolls out in the garage just waiting. Hopefully to be installed next week.
