1972 C3 small block engine pad #s
If someone in this forum has an original base 350 engine in their 72 corvette, could you please measure the height of the VIN number and the Engine Date Code on the front pad of their block for me and let me know if they are: 1/16, 1/8, 3/16", etc.
Thanks.
Thanks.

As was pointed out to you in your previous post on this subject, you will not be fooling anyone who knows how to evaluate a stamp pad by doing an amateur job of restamping a decked block.
If you really want to do this, I suggest you contact one of the experts that advertise in Hemmings and offer restamping services or rental of their stamping dies. There are many very subtle variations in the way that the stampings were done, and merely knowing the font size will not really help you achieve any kind of accurate result.

I am trying to find out the size is for the two different sets of numbers. Is this asking for too much? With all due respect....I am not looking for people's opinion on the matter.

Good luck
With all due respect, you described that you have a decked block and are interested in restamping it. Many knowedgable folks are trying to tell you that you're throwing money away in pursuit of this.
Not sure why you don't want to listen to advice. Try asking over on the NCRS discussion board. :D
