I need help quick.....rear rotor question
One of the wheel studs broke off of my 78 on the right rear. I thought it would be a simple matter to pull off the disc and replace but have not yet figured out how to remove the rotor from the spindle. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

It the rivets have already been drilled out, it's probably just rust-welded on there. In which case I'd suggest lots of PB Blaster and liberal applications of a BFH.

By rivets do you mean the 5 do hickeys that are spaced in between the studs? Those are still in place. The car only has 23,000 miles on so rotors may not have ever been off. Do I need to replace after drilling out the rivets?
Thanks again.

No - rivets can stay out ... unless you like drilling them out (later).
If you're not going to have the rotor turned, then mark how the rotor
aligns to the spindle to get it back on with the same orientation.
This may keep the runout in check. If you have a dial indicator ... then try
all 5 positions to see which gives least runout.
Good luck :seeya
