Be VERY careful with used cars in South Florida. Don't trust or believe a word a dealer tells you. Get a car fax, and have it checked out by a mechanic of YOUR choice, or get someone from here to go over it in detail. I'm an hour or two south of West Palm Beach. In the last 3 years I've bought 4 used cars, all of them had been in accidents but were sold as "perfect condition, never wrecked". All but 1 of them I could tell before buying, the other I figured out when I took the front bumper off. Why would I buy cars I knew had been in accidents? Just about every car I looked at, at least 100, had been in an accident or were otherwise questionable... Two of the three had minor damage that didn't bother me, and the 4th I didn't want but I couldn't talk my wife out of it. It was a minivan for her.....

I will NEVER buy a used car more than 5 years old in South Florida again. I know nothing about the auction you are bidding on, but if it was me I'd just walk away and hope to not win the auction. I distrust people around here that much. Dishonest thieves, all of them.
