Default How do you remove this??



Can anyone tell me how to remove the bezel circled in the pic, mine is looked a bit rusty and I want to remove the metal frame only so that I can powdercoat it black again. :confused:

There should be speednuts on the backside of the body panel.

I had a quick look earlier because I was going out, but it looked at first glance like some plastic studs, what do actually mean by speednuts, do they just undo with a regular spanner? I hope that when I actually look harder it will become clear. :cheers:

It has some speed nuts on the backside. After removing those you have to lift it up and tilt it back away from the fender because it has a small tab along the bottom it sits into. After you get it out, the frame/bezel is snapped on. You will see how it is attached. I think if you tried to pop it off without removing it, you would end up scratching or breaking stuff.
