Default Transmission Lines

Just reinstalled my transmission, and before I go any further I want to replace the lines and install a new tranny cooler. My question is does the top line on the transmission go to the the top of the rad/cooler connnection? I'd like to have everything flowing in the correct direction when I fire my baby back to life here. I read different stories but I'd love to get this right the 1st time. Thanks for the help people! And Happy Mother day to all the MOMs online. :steering:

I ran mine thruogh the cooler and then to the radiator. I believe the top line is the pressure line and the bottom is the return line on the trans.

I almost 100% sure that the top line from the trans goes to the top line fitting on the radiator. Just wanted to make sure which way the fuild was flowing. So RedWing, you're thinking the top line is sending fluid out and the bottom line in the return line to the transmission. I just wasn't sure from any of my books here. Thanks

Can I assume we all agree,, the top line is fluid out and it goes to top of the rad, bottom line is the return and it goes to the bottom connection.
