I have a 77 with a 350 vin is L. does anyone know what amperage my alternator should be putting out.
I rermoved the airconditioning, and the guy who had the car before me put an alternator in about two months ago. but when I drive for a while especially at night, I notice the gauge is begining to dip below 13 volts.

I know how hard it is to get a good reman alternator, so it would help if I knew what kind of amps I needed.

any input would be greatly aprieciated
