Yeah they're decals.......but what ya don't see is the nasty punchmark that I filled in & painted flatblack where the previous owner had too long of an air cleaner stud that marked it !

There's also some wear marks from the old air cleaner too but that's all covered up. I tried to use 'older' style decals / companies that were available in the late 60's / early 70's.

Nice! I just ordered a Corvette decal. Gonna try it on top of my rather ugly radiator shroud. :)

I just thought i would try the flame job. Took some cans of paint and some pin stripping tape and away I went. Took 3 hours and I was done. Nothing I would put on the outside but made the inperfections under the hood less noticable.

Is Schneider Cams still in business? They used to be located about 30 miles from my house in Carson City Nevada. My first step in hot rodding my L-82 was by installing their recommended 264 RV cam.

It wasn't much of a change from the L-82. I was younger and dummer so I was kind of dissapointed. It's still in an old friends 400 ci pickup

Cam company :)

I'm not too fond of decals. I'd prefer a nicely painted inside over that collage of stickers.

Yes, Schneider Cams is still in business. It's in the San Diego area--always has been so far as I know. It's a small company that doesn't do a lot of advertising.
