Does anybody know what is involved in removing an M-21 from a '69 427/435 and replacing it with a five or six speed transmission? Is this possible and approximately what would be the cost? Any help is appreciated....

I have a doug nash in mine,the hard part with a manual car is the crossmember is welded in,which makes it harder to deal with.other then that i have been pleased with the trans,the old car really suprises some.cost ,i bought mine over ten years ago,had it in a 65 vette,about $ 1800.00 plus shifter,that was about $ 200.00,tranny yoke ,$ 65.00-90.00 cant remember that long ago ( labor to install ???? to much ,did it myself )

dont know about the six speeds ,some one else chime in,if a six will fit in the trans tunnel with NO MODS to the BODY then i might have a five speed for sale
