Rear end problems....
Hey guys,
So I heard some squeak / noise coming from the right rear on Saturday. Put the car up in the air and the rear tires have a lot of play in them. By that I mean I can physically shake the tire up and down. It will move quite a bit. I'd say close to 1/4 inch on both sides.
It looks like they move all the way up to the rear end / side yokes. I'm thinking it's time to replace the yokes, but would that cause the noise as well. What about wheel bearings?
I see adds for replacement spindles all the time. How can I check these to make sure they are not part of the problem. If I'm going to take the old boy apart, I want to make sure I got everything I need.
Any help would be appreciated,
Christ

thats sounds like the bearings if you can move the wheel with the 3 and 9 test.
there shall be alittle play in the diff but not that much so it can be the yokes
