Quarter miles times.
Just wondering what you guys are running at the track...if you have the same or similiar combination that I have.
Just trying to guesstimate what I will run with the 3.08 gears and TH350.

Re: Quarter miles times. (jetlag)
We are very similar. Look at my sig. I have lower compression than you. But otherwise, we are close.
Running rich, with only 30 degrees of advance, I ran a 14.5 at 95mph. I did this at Beech Bend in Bowling Green at CI-IV. I think I can do a lot better, once I tune the car better.
Hope it helps.

Actually I have a couple friends running that. One has a motorswap (stock 1.8L) with a 75 shot of nitrous...he ran a 13.1
Another in a turbocharged 1.6L ran 11.74
But quite a few in the 13's.
It's kind of sad, actually.
But power to weight ratio is awesome.

A lot will depend upon your launch (tires and driving skill) but I think your combination should be good for high (maybe mid) 13's. If, after your first experience you decide to get more serious about it, lower gears and sticky tires mght get you into the 12's :)

Well, G35s (If that's the coupe version) Are quite fast for the little 6cyl in them. They are similiar to the Nissan 350Z, and run high 13's, low 14s (I think) My friend who is into Japanese cars say that they are the equivalent to the new Nissan Skyline in Japan.
