OT - my 69 Chevelle..a really old pic..
I was 16 (1974)...worked my azz off to buy that car..did a ton of work to it in school auto mechanics .... when done, she'd do a 12.8 1/4 mile and I thought I was in heaven...

Here's my current daily driver..... Just clocked over 320,000 miles and I've done 200,000 of them.
Owned since '91.

Love those old cars. And you still have the bug. Do you know where they are now.

From the time I was 16 to about 24yrs old, I owned over 11 Chevelles(not at one time, although a few times I owned 3 at once then). Always have loved Chevelles and still someday may get another. The ultimate rarest one I had was this 1967 L-78 396/375hp 4spd car, one of only 612 built in '67. Fastest, most powerful car I have ever owned. :yesnod:

Yep, a '68 Poniac Bonneville. One of two in the country and they are the same color.
Converted her to RHD as well as the Vette.
Put in the hideaways and ralley II's. 400/345 Hp with turbo 400 2.41 rear end.
She runs on LPG ( lots cheaper the petrol)
PB, PS AC AM only(changed that first thing!) and power bench
The only things I would have liked were fast glass and remote locking- it's a long way across the car to open the passenger door or wind the windows.
