Need Opinion On Color
I have an 81 Maroon with silver interior.Am thinking of painting it bright red or bright blue.Anyone have pics of red or blue with silver interiors?Opinions?

I don't agree. Silver would look odd with a bright color body. I'd stick with a darker color, as it was.

I have blue vette with silver interior. I think that there is only few colours which looks good with silver interior. Do you have pics of your Maroon? I'd love to see Maroon with silver interior!

I agree with FASGLAS, the lighter color silver interior contrasts better with a darker exterior paint. A deep blue or darker red would look better than a lighter color.
Have you gone to look at the new Corvettes on the lot to see the color combinations? Look at all models of new cars to see if you can find an interior/exterior combo that would be close to what you are considering.

My opinion is that I'd stay with Maroon. If my '80 wasn't stock black, I'd sure wish it were Maroon. My '76 Vette was called Mahogany but was really Maroon.

I have looked at many new vehicles all makes almost are all very dark colored interiors.Might have to start a poll on colors!

Back in the early 80's, while in high school, a friend of mine had silver Trans-am with silver interior; I liked that stock color combo. You might consider a similiar combo, two tone silver/dark grey with silver interior, perhaps black carpet with dark gary on the bottom half of the exterior. Just don't put the chicken on the hood. :lolg:
