Default Silly Sunvisor Question

OK...after being tired of having my sunvisor fall in my lap when driving over less than smooth roads, I ordered a new support spring and retainer to install to see if this might cure my issues. Can anyone tell me the order of install on these pieces? Does the clip install from the top or do I slam it in from the bottom or what? I tried doing a search on this but mostly found people were trying to get the sunvisor off for re-dyes and what not. Thanks!

There should be a retaining clip and spring that hold it in the pocket on the winshield header. Remove the chrome cover insert sunvisor arm, then spring then retaining clip. I found that a socket works good to compress the spring and push the retaing clip down onto the arm. I think I have some pictures if that will help.

Starting in '77, they were heavy paper "sleeves" which fit over the visor to 1982 that had printed instuctions along with small pictograpghs.
