Cruise Control Problems
Well over a year ago I replaced my carb, and manifold, and naturally had to remove and replace the distributor in the process. My question is, ever since I did that, my cruise control no longer works. Whenever I try to engage the cruise, the tachometer bounces up over 4000 RPM, then comes back down to normal, but the cruise never seems to engage.
Any ideas???
Thanks....

These are for an 80 but might help you out. It was written by TheoUK who is very versed in all things cruise control. He is on the forum quite a bit as well, so he may be able to throw you some ideas as well.

CVT4ME,
Thanks. I looked at the link you provided and it appears very thorough. I have no idea yet which one may cure my problem, but this gives me an idea of where to at least start looking.
Thanks again....
