I have to repaint the car which color stock or red
I have a 1971 Corvette convert the orginial color is Steel Cities Gray and the color is red right now which way should I go.
Love the red but don't know how the Gray would look plus car value would go up with orginal color

My $0.02? The gray is BEAUTIFUL!!!
But it's your car and it has to please YOU! Mine was originally blue-green, but the PO painted it red. I really like it, but if it ever comes time to repaint it again, I'm not sure what I'll do. Maybe I'll ask the CF folks? :D

If the paint job is done properly, they all look good, but personnally the original colours kinda brings you back to the original era of the car, for me thats important.. :cheers:

I love red Corvettes...I am lucky enough to own one...it's the color that it came with. That being said....I would go with the original color. My personal tastes always goes towards stock cars.

Red is nice nut common. Steel Cities is an awesome color and if you ever need to sell it's a good color to have and it's the original one.

I went through the same thing you are experiencing. As it turned out, 1bad69 became my inspiration! I could not get the chrome and black combo out of my mind. :steering:

I went through the same thing a while back. If you check out my website you will see the pics of my car when it was red. I have since painted it back to steel cities grey done base/clear. the pic in my sig is me with the car now.
