I have a 68, but it wont help as 68`s don`t have either of those items.

there are some pretty big gaps, but to even them out, i used 3-4 washers behind the screw that goes on the side..(washers went on behind the louver trim itself) and this helped even out the gap.

Thanks Corey, and I'll try to throw some washers behind the screws.

Some guy said on 68's with A/C the last (most reaward) chrome piece will not fit without grinding. I think their cool and would look great on a triple black 68 vert but at $29 a piece times 8= $232 well..............I'll hold off spending $200 plus and wreck my otherwise pristine 68's body modifying it with a dremel to fit 69 only equiprment. Just my .02

Here you go bro, I lightened the pictures so you can see the gaps even though it throws the colors off..

Corz, when I first saw this I thought you had your vette apart for so long you forgot how to put it back together :D :p:

Just a thought, in case you didn't know.... these optional louver trim items were originally installed using rubber "T" nuts. You have to drill about a 3/16 inch hole in the areas where the screws mount. Then you push the "T" nuts into the holes. Machine screws...not chrome trim sheet metal screws ...were used.
The rubber "T" nuts sort of "space" the louver away from the fiberglass. If you're using just sheet metal screws, you'll pull the louver in too tight against the fiberglass and will have difficulty getting the gaps correct. Chuck
