think I got ripped on repair
I took my 78 in to chevy dealer yesterday to install a new part in steering colum for turn signal lever. Car has t/t wheel so I didn't want to tackle job. They charged me 260 bucks now my dimmer doesn't work. what did they forget to do?

They didn't hook up the rod for the dimmer switch. Take it back and have them fix it.

fyi...it is really not that difficult to service upper end of t/t steering column. I went in there to replace my turn signal switch last year and had no difficulties. You can rent the tools you need from autozone for free. You probably know as much as the guys at the chevy dealer...unless there is an old guy there who actually worked on our vettes.
