You may have been kidding but it turns out this is serious stuff. :eek: And it potentially affects all C2 (with discs) and C3s -- not just 1970.
They're talking about recently remanufactured calipers from Cardone, which is a HUGE supplier to auto parts stores.
Anyone who has purchased remanufactured C3 calipers from an auto parts store within the last couple of years should check with the store to see what brand the calipers were and whether the recall affects them! :yesnod:

I think Cardone supplies all the big parts houses. I bought 4 lifetime warranty calipers from Discount Auto...rears maybe in 2002 and fronts in 2003. We'll see....
