Default Should i replace the yokes when i change the ring and pinion?

my 1981 has 71000 miles on it and i'm wondering if i should change the side yokes while i'm in there just to be to play it safe or only if they have to much play. what do you guys think?

I asked the same question years ago, and the majority opinion was to put in new, HD yokes while you're in there. Because 1. you can get ones a lot stronger than factory originals these days and 2. they will wear out. It's a question of when not if.
