Looks good. New parts or dye?
I'm going to a two tone too. Red seats and door panels and everything else black.

The engine and tranny are still at the shop! Therefore no shifter yet. Yes I used dye and the parts that look black are actually navy blue.
Little tip about dye even the really expensive stuff is junk any little bump and it will come off. But I like the look and it needed a total recondition anyway.
Some of you may remember that is why I sold my 69 numbers matching car because I couldnt change anything without ruining its value.
This one will be different and fast! 500 HP normal aspirated 10.5:1 compression with head work, cam, etc.. and then a vortech supercharger and a 150 shot of NOS :hurray:

Re: New two tone interior (Twin_Turbo)
The supercharger was an afterthought (after the new Keith Black pistons were bought and installed). I was going to use my tax refund to buy the SC. So I cannnot run run a SC with 10.5:1?
Also the the wood inserts on the door panels are going to be changed to the 77 black ones and painted to match the navy blue. I think if you click on the pics they enlarge now to give a better look.

Re: New two tone interior (micks69)
I plan on blowing mine with a Procharger P-1SC at some point so I left my compression down at like 9:1. I junked the new Keith Black pistons I had in this motor and went for forged because I didn't want to worry about it. (though we stroked it at the same time).
I don't know if I would supercharge it AND run nitrous with cast pistons.
And yeah, 10.5 is probably too high for a blower. Good for nitrous though. :)
Make sure your cam is split-duration though. You'll get more benefits that way.
You could move to aluminum heads with 10.5:1 and then you might be okay blowing it a little.

Looks good! Reminds me of my interior... Some previous owner has put that blue carpet and some blue touch to my otherwise silver interior.
