side pipes again..
I have tried all your suggestions on removing the mufflers, still no go. They are not in that bad a shape, I would hate to ruin them by heating them with the torch. Does anybody have a sure fire way to get them off?????? :( :( :( :banghead: :banghead:

I'm not sure if you are trying to get the side tubes off or the muffler within the tube. If it is the tubes, I posted this a couple months ago.

If it's getting the muffler out, gentle tapping onto a piece of wood or carpet while holding the tube vertical has worked for me. You don't want to curl the the lip or it will be a real pain to get back on.

We got the tubes apart but can`t get the mufflers out, what a PITA.... I hope someone has a good answer or I can`t use them......it would be sad to go back to stock exhaust plus more expense... :( :( :(
