Default Michigan's bringing back the Emissions testing

Sorry if this has been brought up before, but http://www.detnews.com/2004/metro/04...a01-124915.htm

At least it won't start for a few years, and hopefully older cars will be exempt, and in MI don't classic car plates start at 20 yrs? so maybe that's good news.

That has got be solely for political purposes. They dropped it hear in MN about 4 years ago. When you look at the average age of cars on the road today, statistically the number of cars that they "catch" has got to be real low. I really doubt the cost/benefit to society for doing this testing.

Write your state politicians and make them show the numbers.
