Default broken tops

Well, I just severely cracked my right ttop. I also have had cracks show up for no reason. Anyway I was seeing if anyone else has had problems with ttops cracking or breaking, and since I'm going to have to get new ones, are the glass or fiberglass more durable? I have glass now.

Fiberglass is fixable, but opaque. Priorities.

I bought my car 1.5 years ago with a cracked drivers side glass top. The crack has gotten progressively worse. The tops leak a little at the seals sometimes, but not through the crack. I look at it as cosmetic. Once I get the car int he mechanical shape I want, I'll worry about the top.
