Street Legal Exhaust that adds the most power for the buck
In one of my other topics I noticed a lot fo people told me to get a True Dual system for my 81 to up its efficiency and performance. I researched this and noticed that it has no Catalytic converter, jump basically 2 headers and 2 straight pipes, and Im assuming this is street illegal. (for a 1981, right?) What would be the next best exhaust system for my daily driver?

Headers, 2.5" into the Y-pipe, 3" Y-pipe outlet, 3" cat, split back out into 2.5" duals at the mufflers. Around here, if you put true duals and two cats they will fail you if it only had one cat stock. Flowmaster makes a Y junction with 2.5" inlets, 3" outlet.

Just had Flowtech Afterburners installed with larger pipe and H pipe added. A strong sound and increased throttle response. I got my money's worth.
